Amanda Beard Makes Waves in Aqua Sphere
VISTA, Calif. – August 10, 2010 – What a difference a year makes. Last year Amanda Beard , retired from swimming, was at home watching the U.S. Swimming Nationals. A year later, the 28-year-old swimmer, now a mother with a new focus on life and a new sponsorship with Aqua Sphere, is back in top form and on Sunday swam to a second place finish in the 2010 U.S. Swimming Nationals. This qualifies her for the 2010 Pan Pacific Championships, just two weeks away.
